As an Italian pole dedicated to video games, VIGAMUS is part of a network dedicated to the preservation and divulgation of the cultural heritage related to digital games. Central in this vision, the decision to set up a special annual partnership with international organizations operating in the field of interactive games. The 2013 Country Partner is Brazil, the most interesting actor in the emerging global gaming market, which in 2011 recognized the interactive medium as an essential tool for economic and technological growth and innovation. In virtue of this union, in 2013 VIGAMUS will host activities, exhibitions and exchanges with similar realities operating in the Brazilian game industry.
