VIGAMUS Academy is the internal structure of the Museum of the Video Games focusing in organizing courses, seminars and workshops dedicated to professions within the gaming industry. The courses are held with the participation of established professionals in their respective professional fields and are organized in collaboration with prestigious educational institutions and universities.

Course in EDITOR GAMES & INTERACTIVE MEDIA

The course aims to train an information professional in the field of interactive multimedia works, commonly known as videogames. In a branch at the top of Entertainment that generates annual revenues in over $65 billion, the figure of the editor assumes an increasingly central role not only in newsrooms, but also to the press offices and public relations agencies, communications and events specialist in so-called "new media". The student will acquire all the skills necessary to analyze and understand correctly the video game industry, writing an article and / or a press release, to properly assess the value of an interactive multimedia work and follow an editorial product from the drafting to the distribution and promotion.

Organization of the Course

Minimum number of people required to run the course: 10
Course duration: 40 hours
Place: Faculty of Architecture, Via Gramsci 53 or Via Gianturco 2.

At the end of the course attendants will receive a certificate of attendance "Sapienza University of Rome"

Course in EDITORIAL GRAPHIC, GAMES

The course aims to train a professional editorial graphic, with particular reference to the interactive and multimedia works, commonly known as videogames . The lectures will provide the necessary tools to carry out a project publishing , transmitting the basic know-how pagination of printed magazines, so as to enable the student with a complete and versatile knowledge of the topic. The course will go through and examined in detail all the stages of the process, from conception until shipment in print. These rules will then be lowered into the context of specialized video games magazines, in order to guide the student to the principles that rule this particular area. At the end of the course, the student will be able to make an editorial product suited to meet the needs of the target audience, the gamer, group of users who require specific codes and languages ​​to be reached.
